Emma: Six Project
Hello Kemar here, I am a peer educator for the six project, here are my top tips for effective condom use
1. Correct opening-tear along one side taking care not to damage the condom with nails/jewellery
2. Pinch the top of the condom with the thumb and finger making sure all air is let out
3. Roll down to the shaft of the penis, making sure it is rolled all the way down
4. Ensure condom stays in place during sex, especially if changing sexual positions
5. Never use the same condom twice
Caution If using lubricant- only use water based, not oil e.g vaseline-baby oil this will cause the condom to split
Have fun with different condom flavours and types, find the best ones that suit you/your partner
